Robin Van Persie:
Who else but the flying Dutchmen himself? This lad is on fire 8 league goals in 4 games, expect more against a Norwich side who haven't kept a clean sheet all season. He was rested for Netherlands against Germany in their international fixture so expect him to be fresh for the upcoming game against Norwich.
He scored 4 goals for Uruguay in their international friendly this week against Chile in their 4-0 win. The partnership with Cavanni in Uruguay's midfield was arguably what made the goals, but maybe he can link up with Steven Gerrard as well as he did with Cavanni? Playing Chelsea away will be an interesting fixture, the Reds won at Stanford Bridge last year but can they do it again? These are the types of games that can define 4th place or 5th place.
The Bosnian striker was on the end of a hiding in his European Qualifiers this week getting thumped 6-2 by Portugal, however this striker is one who knows how to put the ball in the back of the net, scoring one goal every 58 minutes he is on the field. It will be interesting to see if he can crack a stubborn Newcastle defense.
Having scored 2 goals in each of these fixtures last season it wouldn't be a surprise if he scores again. Aston Villa have yet to win a game away from home in the Premier League this season, and with Tottenham's recent good run of form it could be a walk in the park. Van der Vaart should start even with his 75% chance of playing due to a hamstring injury, that he picked up against Sweden last week. Manager Harry Redknapp may be back after his minor heart surgery 3 weeks ago, and will be hoping his Dutch ace is fit enough to play.
Good luck for gameweek 12!
